While it is obvious he often draws upon weapons such as war, evil rulers, persecution, discrimination, poverty, adultery, murder, and broken homes, to highlight only a few, there is one weapon that is so subtle many Christians fail to recognize it as a weapon at all! This weapon is negative thinking or what Janet has come to call fiery darts, a weapon seemingly insignificant yet incredibly dangerous. It is the purpose of this book to expose this weapon and reveal how its destructiveness can be subdued.


As God exposed the weapons of fiery darts that for years Satan had skillfully used against Janet, her spiritual walk underwent a dramatic transformation. By teaching her what fiery darts were and how to counter their attack, her walk along the path God had set before her so many years before was illuminated to such an extent that her skill in recognizing Satan’s tactics dramatically improved along with her ability to successfully fight against the fiery darts.


The first half of John 10:10 reveals Satan’s intentions toward mankind, “A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy.” (HCSB) Once Satan’s intentions were exposed and the tactics he was so skillfully using to produce such defeat in Janet’s life were revealed, then her instruction on how to counter these attacks began in earnest. She was taught how to bring the power of God’s Word to bear upon the fiery darts’ assault and, in so doing, the second half of John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance” (HCSB) began to transform the character of her walk with God…
